I've been programming websites in varying industries for over a decade. During that time I have put clients first by using the philosophy that web development entails employing the correct tools in the toolbox in order to complete the project.

Clients come from as diverse backgrounds as their websites have needs. Some are interested in the nuts and bolts of development while others just want the knowledge that their business is in good hands. I can involve you to the degree of your own interest.

If you need programming in addition to the designing and site building Sana offers, I can provide server side development on Linux and Windows platforms using PHP and MySQL or ASP.NET and MS SQL Server combinations. I also offer JavaScript, including the use of AJAX for rich media websites. For ActionScript, I can make additional arrangements.

Development will include initial consultation with you to learn your specific needs, as well as testing of the website to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Linux and Windows Platforms

PHP
PHP is a very popular free programming language used primarily on variations of the Linux operating system for rapid development of sites. Its ease of use and flexibility has made websites built with PHP widespread throughout the Internet.

MySQL
MySQL is the free database that's usually used in tandem with PHP for storage of information in a website. It provides much of the same functionality as databases that require a licensing fee and can be used for sites ranging from portals to e-commerce.

ASP.NET
ASP.NET is Microsoft's technology for building web applications. Sites built with ASP.NET can be employed for small businesses or multinational corporations with heavy traffic. Because it is a commercial product, it has support from Microsoft and flexibility to meet a wide variety of needs.

JavaScript
JavaScript is used for a variety of effects in a website ranging from visual effects to checking the validity of information submitted in a form to improving the processing speed of a site's content. JavaScript is a common tool for spicing up a website's interactivity.

AJAX
AJAX is a JavaScript-based technology that has become an industry standard for improving the performance of websites. If you want a website that has a lot of changing information on individual pages, AJAX is an excellent way to ensure that your site can address your customer's needs quickly.

ActionScript
ActionScript is the programming language contained within Flash that complements the software's design capabilities. When used inside a tastefully designed Flash movie, ActionScript adds tremendous functionality to a website.
